The Human Shift is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, how it is used, and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Luxembourg data protection law.

2. What data we collect

We only collect data you choose to share with us, or that is strictly necessary for the site to function:

When you book a call: your name, email address, and any information you enter when scheduling via our booking tool (Google Calendar appointment scheduling).
When you contact us directly: the email address, phone number, and message content you provide.
Technical data: limited information needed to deliver and secure the website (e.g. server logs from our host).

This website does not use advertising or behavioural tracking cookies.

3. Why we use it (legal basis)

To schedule and conduct discovery calls and coaching engagements: performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps at your request.
To respond to your enquiries: our legitimate interest in answering you.
To meet legal and accounting obligations: compliance with a legal obligation.

4. Third-party services

We use Google Calendar (appointment scheduling) to manage call bookings. When you book, the data you enter is processed by Google on our behalf. Google may set cookies necessary for the scheduling function. See Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy. Our website is hosted by Netlify, which may process technical log data to deliver the site.

5. How long we keep your data

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected, typically for the duration of our relationship and any period required by law (e.g. accounting records). Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted within a reasonable period.

6. Who has access

Your data is accessed only by Cristelle Bretnacher and the service providers listed above, strictly for the purposes described. We never sell your personal data.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

access the personal data we hold about you;
request correction of inaccurate data;
request erasure of your data;
object to or restrict certain processing;
request data portability;
withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.
